My Trx4m mod list.
This is a list of mods i have done to my 4m. its a ever-growing list 1 item at a time.
Wanted to try a animal theme’d decal. also painted the letters with a paint pen. it didnt hold up well. After about 2 weeks i removed the deer and made the mountains bigger(liking it more thay way) and did it in matte black. has a hidden sasquatch in the mountains.
First mod was decals.
Made alot of versions of decals til i landed on the ones on the cover photo. started with smaller mountains with a pin stripe.
Rims/Tires
wanting something Bronze and not having 1010204738291q53412 bolts on the face side. Wanted something close to stock size as it looked scale to my liking. had to get wheel spacers to use the rims as they wobbled from being a loose fit and I couldn’t tighten the lugs any tighter. Tires are INJORA 1.0 Tires - 57 * 22mm S5 Super Soft Sticky Crawler Tires. Rims are from TREAL SCX24 Wheels 1.0" Beadlock Wheels. The TREAL Brass Wheel Hubs.
New body!
Purchased an INJORA 6.10in Wheelbase Shell - ABS Hardtop Body Kit(Silver Grey) not a fan of the ridges on the clips but it is awsome. did install the light kit also
New grill from Injora!
Suspension
Installed the Injora 59mm shocks. I like the looks of the nexx ones. but don’t think the reservoir would be beneficial.
Powertrain
the bearing kit was easier to install then the links. the little orings on the links took for ever to get together. looking at motor options for some more power. but unsure if i want to stay brushed or go brushless. (always like bashers but this is for me to play with the miss’s with and trying to keep that in mind…)
Frame
I went with Injora LGC frame. purchased it because at full flex the servo was hitting the frame and getting stuck. Install was quicker then the links.
hightrail
for the miss’s to play with. Not many mods are gonna go on this one.
dechromed with LA Totally awesome. designed and 3d printed a exhaust for it also.
relocated the shock mounts for a lower truck with better flex.
New brass rims paired with 60mm tires
High clearance links and injora 7kg servo as the stock one only lasted a few weeks...
